GEOSPACE
GEOSPACE is a division of GAUSS, it has joint Italian-Romanian capital and was founded in 2005. At present it has 12 employees, 6 servers and 20 work stations. The main activity of GEOSPACE is creation of road databases, including:

- plan–altimetric reconstruction of the street axis, including data regarding road/street name and progressive distances for each road segment
- association of georeferenced video resources with the rebuilt road graph identifying, locating and measuring of all objects that are recognizable and relevant
- identifying, locating and measuring of all objects that are recognizable and relevant
- measuring all dimensions (width of the roadway, the road shoulder, size of panels etc.)
- creating a relational database that includes all the above information
- optimizing the use and management of data through database integration in a GIS
