Project details: The main objective of this project was creation of a road database, including:
- - plan – altimetric reconstruction of the street axis including data regarding road/street name and progressive distances for each road segment
- - association of georeferenced video resources with the rebuilt road graph
- - identification, location and survey of all recognizable and relevant objects
- - measuring of all dimensions (width of the roadway, of the road shoulder, size of panels etc.)
- - creation of a relational database including all the above information
- - optimization of the use and management of data through database integration in a GIS
