The military studies, discipline and consistency required both in military and civilian life (followed by Mathematics and Computer Science) have created the necessary benchmarks for a coordinated and correct team work.
With 25 years of activity in topography, cadastral survey and geodesy, GAUSS means discipline, consistency, and satisfied beneficiaries. We are the first Romanian company to use satellite imagery, we have also developed a pilot project for Romania – Remote Sensing Subsidiary Control and the RoNet – Ground Scanning (Trimble Mx2) project.
We have the resources adapted to each project by purchasing specific equipment and working with teams trained according to standards.
How does Gauss work? – Our company has a solid core that is in constant growth. Starting from this core, we train the staff, form the working teams, and then develop each project separately. We have our own quality assessment system.
We have generally focused our attention on large private companies: OMV, Transelectrica, Transgaz with which our collaboration has been punctual and mutually beneficial. We worked hard with the state. It does not get involved, does not promote cadastral survey, does not support it. The exception is APIA, where we met responsible and competent people.
If someone had asked me 15 years ago how I would like GAUSS to look like today, the answer would have been – ACTIVE. How would I like Gauss to look like in 10 years? – In full activity!
